Northwest Orchard Walnut
Our Northwest Orchard Walnut’s fame lay in its unique dark, rich color and well figured grain. Rich dark chocolates, with port reds and swirling cream tones. Much deeper and warmer than eastern walnut. Smooth grain gets lost in color, highly figured around natural character features appears almost three dimensional in depth.
Appearance Grades
CHARACTER & BETTER is our overall most unique grade created for our most varied and unique woods. Basically a blend of our standard Select and Character Grades which allow for long clear lengths as well as the visual interest of the structurally sound natural features of the wood, including knots, tight burls & small fillable holes which will not effect the integrity of the flooring.

Engineered Pre-finished
A solid slab of 3/16" (4.5 mm) hardwood mounted to furniture grade multi-ply birch. 5/8" or 3/4" final thickness. Our GM Silk Floor Oil is a natural, zero VOC finish providing a subtle sheen, easy to maintain & very durable surface that brings out the luster and beauty of the wood without the "glazed" look of most factory finished floors. Solid Un-Finished
Our traditional 3/4" thick solid wood, sand and finish on site floor. Square edges (no micro-bevel) means a good old fashioned seamless floor they way they were made for centuries. Extra Long lengths means fewer seams and longer runs for a less "bricky" appearance. Click here for more info...
